Free ACT For Juniors
For the third year running, District 622 is able to offer all of its 11th graders the opportunity to take the ACT free of charge, thanks to a generous grant from the 3M foundation.  You can take it on any national test date at any test center. District 622 will reimburse you test fees when the district receives your test records from ACT.  District 622 will serve as a test center for the April 4 (at North)  and June 13 (at Tartan) test dates.  Be sure to register early if you want to test at a 622 school.   Dates and details...

Free ACT Practice Test, January 20, 2009
District 622 Juniors and Seniors planning to take the ACT should consider taking an ACT practice test in January. District 622 has again partnered with the Kaplan Test Prep Center to offer this free opporunity for students to see how ready they are for the ACT.  The event takes place at Tartan, January 20 from 9:00-12:30.  Free transportation is provide from north at 8:30. GRAD Reading Test Retakes
Student's must successfully complete their GRAD requirements in Reading, Math and Writing to recieve a Minnesota public high school diploma.  The GRAD requirement started with this year's 11th grade class. 

The GRAD Reading test was administered to this year's juniors as part of their spring MCA-II in Reading.  Students who met or exceeded standard on the MCA-II, or who received a score of 50 or higher on the tests GRAD items have completed this requirement.  Students who did not take the MCA-II in Reading last spring or who did not pass the GRAD requirement will have multiple opportunities to retake the test. 

Notices with testing details will be sent  for students who still need to complete this requirement. Retesting is done on the computer.  District 622 will offer GRAD retakes monthly starting in October 2008.  Students may retake the GRAD six-weeks after recieving their prior GRAD result.  The retests are offered during a window.
